MISSION STATEMENT

Eternal Sun Apparel's goal is to make anime and manga more accessible by expanding its cultural reach through apparel and creating a lasting brand with the emergence of Web 3.0. In Japanese mythology, the sun often symbolizes 'justice' - an overarching theme of a lot of anime. Anime protagonists (and sometimes antagonists) have a vision for creating a more ideal world.

The sun, however, also often represents ‘warmth’ and ‘joy.’ Coming from low-income, minority backgrounds ourselves, our aim through our brand is to share the themes of freedom, liberation, and justice in a more commonplace and refined manner. Our vision is to use this as a means to also share the happiness and joy we feel as a result of manga and anime. We draw our inspiration from Eiichiro Oda, the creator of One Piece, in creating a brand that is focused on showcasing that there is always more to learn, seek, and understand in the process of finding 'justice’ and ‘joy.’
